Ron Duncan is Technical Director of Palm International. He has more than 35 years of experience solving materials problems in the petroleum and metal finishing industries. Formerly, Ron was Director of Research for Elnic, where he was in charge of electroless nickel formulation and materials research. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and is certified as a Corrosion Specialist by NACE. Ron has written numerous papers on corrosion problems, coatings and electroless nickel, and is the principal author of the chapter on electroless nickel in the Metals Handbook.

Bill Fields is President of Palm International. Formerly, he was Vice President of Elnic, where he was responsible for marketing and for Elnic’s equipment fabrication division. Bill also has several years direct, hands on experience in the plating industry, supervising the operation of electroless nickel and plating on plastics lines. He has written several papers on the future of electroless nickel and on equipment, and is also an author of the electroless nickel chapter in the Metals Handbook. Bill was also a founder of the World Electroless Nickel Society.

Jim Moller is President of Finishing Solutions, LLC, a Manufacturers Representative Firm specializing in electroless nickel processes. He has over 30 years experience installing, operating, and troubleshooting electroless nickel processes as a job shop owner, and as a chemical process supplier. Jim spent several years at Allied-Kelite where, along with responsibility for a sales & service team, he provided sales perspective as a member of the product development team for electroless nickel. Prior to Finishing Solutions, LLC, Jim was Product Manager for Electroless Nickel at McGean-Rohco.
